In addition to the cool, modern finish of this converted Cornish barn, the outdoor space makes the most of the tranquil village location. A few steps beyond the granite threshold, on a private terrace, a cedar-clad hot tub invites stargazers to enjoy the unspoilt night skies of this rural hideaway. Enjoy al-fresco dining on the patio or sprawl out for a sun-drenched picnic in the pretty cottage garden with views of the meadow beyond. Spend the day exploring the beaches and towns of Cornwall’s West coast before returning to relax in the homely comforts of Herb Cottage.

Herb Cottage offers upside down living, with a kitchen/dining room, lounge and shower room on the first floor and two bedrooms and main bathroom on the ground floor.

All you need is provided to cook and entertain. 

Lounge

With smart TV and wood burner for cooler evenings and a large range of books and games for rainy days.

Master bedroom

King sized bed, with dressing table, wardrobe and chest if drawers. Hairdryer and hair straighteners.

Bedroom 2 

Two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV which can be removed for younger guests.

Main bathroom

With double ended roll top bath, a separate shower, sink and toilet.

Shower room 

Being on the first floor with shower, toilet and sink.

Also has a washing machine on lower floor. A separate utility room with washing machine, tumbler dryer and sink for muddy boots in barn with storage for bikes. 

Outside

An old smoke house houses the BBQ and beach equipment (chair, wind break buckets and spades)

You have use of all the garden and fields to room, you might even spot a deer!

Arrival and departure

Our housekeeping team will aim to get your home ready as soon as possible, normal arrival time is 5pm. Departure is 10am

What’s included

Egyptian cotton bedlinen and towels. You will find basic essentials in the kitchen and of course a welcome hamper.

Mobile reception

Herb Cottage for some mobile providers might have intermittent reception however with Wi-Fi included you will be able to use Wi-Fi calling, but then some like to escape the phone calling!
